Our wine - Corvina Veronese
The Canova agriturismo is a small island of bliss in the heart of the Valpolicella, famous for the production of Veneto wines.
Guided by our love for this magical area, we share with our guests a new adventure: our wine, Corvina Veronese. After a year of dedication to the land and to tradition, our autochthonous vines have generated dark and juicy grapes which we have bottled for you.
The Corvina vine is one of the most important red vines in the Veneto and is one of the main ones used for Valpolicella wines. Its precise origins are not known, but the first information of its cultivation dates back to the first to decades of the 19th century.
The harvest of this first year kept us busy but has rewarded us and we are certain to repeat the experience again in the years to come.

Negrar - Italy
30% Corvina, 40% Corvina Grossa, 20% Rondinella, 10% Molinara
Deep red in colour, which is close to the colour of a ruby. To the nose, t is intense and refined, with scents of red berries and spices. In the mouth you will discover it is delicate, with balanced tannic weave and acidity. The ideal temperature for enjoying this wine to the full is from 14° to 16° C.
Our Corvina Veronese is perfect for red meat.
Its full-bodied flavour is also ideal for substantial pasta dishes. Such as baked lasagne or to accompany flavoursome dishes in general such as soups and soft cheeses. If drunk cool, it can also be served with fish dishes.
